Pleasure Delayer

Tom Cruise, in the movie Vanilla Sky, calls himself a ‘pleasure delayer’ - in reference to his strategy with courting women. He means that he is the kind of guy who likes to take things slow even if there is a chance to take it forward with a girl. Instead, he waits, leaving the girl wanting for more. He waits till the tension between them rises. Then, when everything is perfect, he makes his move, making the girl go crazy about him. The delayed pleasure is thus much more intensified for both of them.

We, at Musicfellas, are big fans of Tom Cruise. We like to call ourselves pleasure delayers - of course in a totally different context.

In the last few days we sent out early access to a lot of people and are really glad to know that you all loved it. However, what some of you saw wasn’t the final thing- it was far from perfect but was good enough to go out in public. But, sadly ‘good enough’ is just not good enough for us.

We want to shock, amaze and leave you spellbound when we launch. So, we’ve decided to wait for a few more days before a full public launch. And, meanwhile we’ll be working hard to make things perfect.

The delayed pleasure for all of you, we promise, would be so much more.

Musicfellas (www.musicfellas.com) is a social, indie music discovery platform helping you have meaningful conversations around the music you care about.
